When I was in elemantary school I told my mom about a sweet girl who was in my class. I was so upset.Because I heard the other students say they were not going to put a Valentines day card in her bag. Just because she was different they thought it was ok to be mean to her. Anyway I told my mom so she helped me buy a special Judy Judy Judy shirt just for her. She cut a heart out of card board, painted it pretty and added glitter to it. Then she took a blue rose out of her flower arrangement and added to it. I couldn’t help but smile as I watched my sweet momma help me make that card. She was also teaching a valuable lesson that day, to treat others the way we would like to be treated.

I handed my classmate her special card her eyes filled with tears and she had the biggest smile on her face and we hugged. One of my favorite memories of my childhood. Good on that young man. I had people in school being mean to me all the time I quit school because of the way people treated me.
